Willingen ski area in 25 minutes
Willingen in the Upland is the largest ski area in Hesse, with the Ettelsberg cable car, snowmaking, floodlit slopes and a toboggan run. From Korbach you reach the lifts via the B 251 in about 25 minutes. Early risers are on the slopes before the day visitors, and in the evening Korbach lies on the way back towards Kassel, Paderborn and Frankfurt.
Skiliftkarussell Winterberg in 30 minutes
The Skiliftkarussell Winterberg is the largest connected ski area in the Sauerland, with chairlifts, snowmaking and night skiing. Add the bobsleigh track and cross country trails around the Kahler Asten. From Korbach you reach Winterberg in about 30 minutes, convenient for a weekend with two ski days in two resorts.
From the slopes to the pool
From the hotel you walk straight into the Goldbad pool, entry to the indoor pool is free for hotel guests, the sauna is available at a special rate. Ski clothing dries in your 28 m² room, parking right at the hotel is free. The lounge is open around the clock, and the old town of Korbach with its restaurants is a five minute walk away.
Cheaper than in the resort
In Willingen and Winterberg beds are scarce and expensive in winter. Korbach is close enough for the slopes and far enough for fair prices. The Weis family has run Hotel Touric personally since 1997, families get adjoining rooms and free cots, groups a room of their own on request.

Gutes Hotel für Unternehmungen rund um den Edersee und das Umland. Sehr schön gestaltet und ansprechend eingerichtet. Hervorragend für Ausflüge zum Edersee und in den Nationalpark Kellerwald zum Wandern! Dieses Hotel ist perfekt gelegen um die genannten Ziele auch ohne Auto zu erreichen, Bushaltestelleb direkt vor dem Haus, in wenigen Minuten am Korbach… More Hbf und von dort dann mit Bahn oder Bus in ca 40 Minuten zu verschiedenen Destinationen am Edersee, u.a. Nationalpark Zentrum oder auch nach Kassel. Vorteil ist dass man hier zugleich die wunderschöne historische Stadt hat, mit Kino und Restaurants etc. Lobby toll renoviert und gekühlt (die Zimmer erst ab nächsten Jahr). Hervorragendes Frühstück. Man kann gratis direkt ins öffentliche Schwimmbad über einen Gang im Gebäude. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Großer Parkplatz für Autofahrer. Alles picobello. Ganz klare Empfehlung!!
Tolles Hotel, sehr familienfreundlich obwohl es erstmal nach Tagungshotel aussieht. Sehr freundliches und professionelles Personal. Schöne, moderne Zimmer.
